That Free Thing - Vendor Program

Daily Deals or Deal of the day (also called flash sales, one deal a day) is a type of marketing for business to advertise on the internet.  Usually offered through a third party website, like Groupon or Living Social, that offers a single product for sale for a period of 24 to 36 hours through purchasing a coupon for the product. Members of a Daily Deal website will  receive these offers and invitations through either  postal mail, email and social networks.

Some established retailers, like Amazon.com and Buy.com, feature similar daily deals on products in addition to their conventional sales methods.  This business model has grown out of the 2009 – 2010 recession and gained notoriety through Google making a $6 billion dollar offer to purchase Groupon.  Recently some fears have arisen over the profitability of companies offering daily deals due to the costs and expenses these companies are facing in regards to gaining membership through more traditional advertising means.

Most Daily Deal websites work directly with local businesses in metropolitan areas and online retailers to offer deals on products or services at a significant discount to the regular price.  Which works best when a company can use a surplus inventory that needs to be moved.  Typically this offer has a limited time period associated to it.  Which motivates the purchaser to purchase for fear of loss.  These offers are usually sent through an email notification and are purchased through the website and not through the businesses that offer the deal.  This means the deal site retains the customer data rather than the company offering the deal.

It is best for businesses that are considering offering a Daily Deal to consider it a marketing activity rather than a way of increasing profitability.  The exposure to the large amount of customers that a business can receive by offering a daily deal is invaluable.  Some studies have shown that the increase in sales because of the exposure received can be significant.  Traditional marketing through print media has proven this concept to be a valuable source of exposure.  Getting new people in the door of a business is often the hardest task for most small business owners.  Once the customer is in the door, it is much easier for a business to win over that customers loyalty by showing them the additional benefits of the business, like the great service or variety of goods.

Through the internet, most Daily Deal sites are promoted through affiliate marketing programs, where the company will pay other website owners to drive traffic to the Daily Deal site.  This monetary compensation is paid to the referring site owners and not to the end purchaser for referring friends.  Social Proof Marketing has been very popular with Daily Deal sites, gaining them the exposure they need to facilitate sales of the deals.

Is the ULTIMATE Daily Deal platform for Small Businesses.  The Daily Deal Trend is growing and will prove to instantly add value to your business. No matter who you are or what you are selling the TFT Network will benefit you! AND it wont cost you ANYTHING to join!

That Free Thing is taking a new and fresh approach to the Daily Deal market by combining the results of the couponing craze with the power of word of mouth, Social Affiliate Marketing.  Their  goal is to create a long-term partnership with your business and show you how to leverage this platform to make more money.

They have created a win-win scenario between you and their members.. Using this platform you will be able to market and promote your business to over 450,000+ members (and counting) who are all eager to buy what you are offering.

Groupon doesn’t really pay their members for telling others, they may give them something for free if a member tells enough people.  Then they have to tell people again, to get anything else cheaper.  The members of the TFT’s Network are not only looking for great deals to purchase, but even more than that, they are motivated to purchase deals through TFT because they get rebates back from their purchases.  In the form of Real Money, not free deals.  They get this on EVERYTHING they purchase and the business owner doesn’t have to pay them.  Their rebates come out of the money made by TFT on the purchase of the deal, not out of the Business Owners pocket.  That Free Thing has made a commitment to their members that they would pay back to the membership 75% of all Revenues.

Offering “Free Things” and “Coupons” is a time tested technique to get new customers.  Companies large and small having been using these techniques for years.  Creating new customers that will continue to buy what you are offering is a BIG deal for any business.  TFT members take that one step further by having another incentive to do so, they get paid too.

The Daily Deal business model is not a new one and many companies are springing up across the internet trying to grab a piece of the pie.  But they are all taking the same approach as Groupon and LivingSocial by soliciting businesses through a workforce of hired employees and spending millions on advertising.

TFT takes the basic concept of Daily Deals and adds a monetary motivator to a sales force of thousands of Affiliated Members.  In doing so, they have created a MORE lucrative model for themselves, their members and MOST IMPORTANTLY the Business Owners.

As a Small Business Owner you need to take a real look at participating in TFT’s Vendor Network.  TFT has created a highly motivated sales force, by paying them to promote your business and purchase your deals through their own TFT network.

So Join NOW! and be the first in your area to offer deals!  You will NEVER cut a check to TFT, They will be cutting checks to YOU!!!
